Journal Comics & Hourly Comic Day

I’ve been drawing journal comics off and on for over a decade. I’ve also participated in Hourly Comic Day (February 1st) almost every year since 2012. I really enjoy this medium for preserving memories and sharing moments from my life. It also serves as excellent practice for visual storytelling. I’m always aiming to depict a moment in the most interesting way possible, and often striving to find the humor and whimsy in the mundane.
